Technical enhancements

Technical enhancements may be made to the revised Planning and Design Code released on consultation to improve the customer’s consultation experience and address any technical issues.

Please note enhancements to the ePlanning System which is already in operation in SA’s rural and outback areas are published separately as release notes on PlanSA.

Zones

  • Updated Business Neighbourhood Zone DTS/DPF 3.6 in relation to side boundary setback.

Subzones

  • Removed Performance Outcome 1.6 from the Rehabilitation Subzone of the Strategic Innovation Zone.
  • Updated name of ‘Repatriation Facilities Subzone’ in SAPPA to ‘Repatriation Subzone’ to align with the Code policy.

Overlays

  • Correct linkages for deemed-to-satisfy dwelling additions within the Character Area Overlay and Character Preservation Districts Overlay.
  • Renamed Mount Lofty Ranges Water Supply Catchment Overlays to Mount Lofty Ranges Catchment Overlays to align with the Planning, Development and Infrastructure (General) Regulations 2017.

  • Defined term pop-up for "sensitive use" hidden to avoid confusion between "sensitive use" and "more sensitive use".
  • Corrected concept plans returned via Line of Enquiry and Browse the Code.
  • Corrected Administrative Definition for “Activity Centre” to reference the “Emerging Activity Centre Subzone”.
