SPC Chair Craig Holden inviting feedback on draft Greater Adelaide Regional Plan – video transcript

Adelaide is celebrated as one of the world’s most liveable cities, and we’re building on this enviable reputation with the launch of the Greater Adelaide Regional Plan.

This visionary Plan has been developed by the State Planning Commission utilising the extensive community feedback provided during the successful three-month consultation on the Greater Adelaide Regional Plan Discussion Paper in late 2023.

Covering 11,000 square kilometres, Greater Adelaide is home to 85% of South Australia's population. The Plan will provide long-term certainty for the community, local councils, and the development sector, guiding where housing and jobs will go as we plan for projected growth across the next 30-years.

We’re inviting all South Australians to share their views on the key priorities for our region’s future. Over the next six weeks, we’re eager to hear your insights on:

The Plan is committed to identifying new green spaces for sport, recreation and bio-diversity, modernising essential services, recognising neighbourhood character, and prioritising environmental sustainability.

The Plan is now available to view via the Regional Planning Portal.

Don’t miss your chance to have your say during this six-week consultation period.

Your feedback and collaboration are crucial and we invite you to help us as we shape the future of Greater Adelaide together.
