The Yorke Peninsula and Mid North region is home to some of the world’s most unique landscapes, rich cultures, and welcoming communities. It’s blessed with fertile agricultural land, iconic coastlines, and a strong connection to First Nations heritage.

To ensure this region continues to thrive, the State Planning Commission has developed the Yorke Peninsula and Mid North Regional Plan to support sustainable growth and address the opportunities and challenges unique to the area.

Public consultation is now open and we’re eager to hear your insights on:

• Safeguarding the region’s unique biodiversity, from the Gulf St Vincent coastline to inland ecosystems.
• Supporting key industries, including agriculture, renewable energy, tourism, and aquaculture.
• Ensuring infrastructure and housing meet the needs of communities.
