Code Amendment ID: 10123 Milang Local Heritage

Alexandrina Council is consulting on a Code Amendment which seeks to recognise and protect the local heritage of Milang. In particular, the Milang Local Heritage Code Amendment seeks to:

• list 25 places/properties in Milang as Local Heritage Places

• apply the Local Heritage Place Overlay to the listed Local Heritage Places

• apply the Historic Area Overlay together with the Historic Area Statements to parts of Milang that exhibit historic themes and characteristics

• apply the Heritage Adjacency Overlay to all parcels of land that are adjacent to a site that contains a local heritage place so that any new development does not dominate, encroach on or unduly impact on the setting of the listed Local Heritage Place.
