These notified state developments are submitted to the State Planning Commission for processing. The State Commission Assessment Panel (SCAP) undertakes development assessment on behalf of the State Planning Commission.
Developments include:
- Crown developments proposed by the state
- essential infrastructure
- major projects / impact assessed development
- developments for which the State Planning Commission is the relevant authority under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016.

Please note: not all development applications require public notification. Refer to the Development Register for further information.
How to have your say
When you have your say about a development application, this is called submitting a representation.
A representation can be made on any application during the public notification period.
Below, you can view and download documentation to inform your submission and submit a representation online.
Alternatively, a written submission can be made via letter, email, or returning the representation template form to:

Written submissions must include your name, contact details, affected property address, and those matters of particular concern or interest in relation to a development.

Developments that have been declared as impact assessed by the Minister, or prescribed by regulations.
