Request a change to the Code

Change types

Proposals for code amendments are lodged through the PlanSA portal for approval to initiate from the Minister for Planning.

If you already have an account, you can submit a Proposal to Initiate through the Code Amendment Tracking System (CATS).

You will be directed to login through the Development Application Processing (DAP) platform.
Once logged in, click on the 9-Dot Menu and select Code Amendment System.
Click submit new code amendment.

You will need to create an online account if you do not already have an account.

Use the request form below to request a change to the Planning and Design Code, including:

A request to change an error or operational issue with the Code; or
Suggest a technical change or policy improvement to the Code, to be considered by the State Planning Commission as part of its regular Code update.
