The Proponents (Shahin Corporation Pty Ltd & Shahin Brothers Pty Ltd, Daniele Raffaele De Ieso, T & J Mumford Property Pty Ltd, BTR Excavations Pty Ltd and Kiatia Pty Ltd) are seeking to rezone land located at Waterloo Corner on the corner of Port Wakefield Road and Waterloo Corner Road (Affected Area) from Rural and Rural Horticulture to Employment. The Affected Area is identified as:

• CT5124/826 - 625-637 Waterloo Corner Road, Waterloo Corner (Shahin Corporation Pty Ltd & Shahin Brothers Pty Ltd)

• CT5154/250 - 613-623 Waterloo Corner Road, Waterloo Corner (Daniele Raffaele De Ieso)

• CT5407/888 – 33-47 Mumford Road, Waterloo Corner (T & J Mumford Property Pty Ltd)

• CT5759/444 – 1-31 Mumford Road, Waterloo Corner (BTR Excavations Pty Ltd)

• CT6276/416 – 1261-1267 Port Wakefield Road, Waterloo Corner (Kiatia Pty Ltd)

This proposal will enable land that is no longer suitable for primary production to be utilised for economic activity that can capitalise on its strategic location abutting Port Wakefield Road and Waterloo Corner Road. The proposal seeks to support large format bulky goods retail and commercial/industrial development. It will provide additional land zoned for employment in the north of Adelaide to support employment growth.

Consultation is anticipated to commence in April 2025.
