Overview

The proponents seek to rezone rural land at Waterloo Corner to enable the expansion of adjacent industrial, freight, logistics and warehousing land uses. The affected area consists of 30 hectares of land that is within the Rural Zone and located on the corner of Mumford Road and Heaslip Road.

The land has been identified within the 30 Year Plan for Greater Adelaide as future employment lands. Further, the rezoning will align with key State Planning Policies and respond to a need for employment lands demonstrated by strong market demand and the Land Supply Report for Greater Adelaide – Part 3: Employment Land 2021. The affected area is also well connected to key transport and infrastructure connections.

Consultation is anticipated to commence in mid to late 2024.
