Overview

The Proponent is proposing to rezone land at Eudunda to facilitate the restoration of the Eudunda railway station and future uses involving retail and tourist accommodation. The Affected Area consists of 4,054m2 of land that is zoned Employment (Bulk Handling) with frontage to Railway Parade. The land also abuts the existing Township Main Street zone and the Viterra bulk grain operations. The Viterra bulk grain operations will remain within the Employment (Bulk Handling) zone.

The proposal involves the rezoning of the land to Township Main Street zone.

This rezoning aligns with the State Planning Policies, Regional Plans and the Goyder Master Plan 2022-2037, Goyder Tourism Strategic Plan 2017 and the SA Regional Visitor Strategy 2020.
