Code Amendment ID: 10069 76 Kessell Road, Goolwa

The objective of the Code Amendment is to facilitate the future development of 76 Kessell Road Goolwa as an expansion of the Discovery Parks caravan park that exists on the adjoining property at 40 Kessell Road. The existing caravan park is zoned Caravan and Tourist Park.

The property at 76 Kessell Road is currently contained within two (2) zones – the Deferred Urban Zone and the Rural Zone. The zone boundary between these two (2) zones diagonally transects the property from the south-west to the north-east.

The Code Amendment seeks to apply the Caravan and Tourist Park Zone to the property, which will provide a more relevant policy framework for the assessment of subsequent applications for the proposed expansion, which may include powered sites, deluxe cabins, recreation facilities and amenities.
