Overview

Nevarc Developments Pty Ltd proposes to rezone approximately 19.9 hectares of land, located on Old Bull Creek Road, Strathalbyn from the ‘Deferred Urban’ and ‘Neighbourhood’ Zones to the Master Planned Township Zone. The reason for the Code Amendment is to facilitate future development of the Affected Area for low density residential uses and ensure there is adequate land supply to cater for future population growth.

The Affected Area is identified within The 30-Year Plan for Greater Adelaide as ‘planned urban lands to 2045’. It is located just over 1 kilometre from the main street of Strathalbyn and represents a logical extension of the existing township.
