Extended for 7 days: Consultation on the Environment and Food Production Areas Review

Published Friday, 30 July 2021

Following the week-long state-wide COVID-19 lockdown, the State Planning Commission has extended the public consultation period for the Environment and Food Production Areas (EFPA) review to 5.00 pm, 6 August 2021.

Stakeholders and the community are encouraged to use the week-long extension to access the Commission’s reports, prepare and make their submissions to vary the EFPA boundaries for their respective area/land.

Following the close of consultation, the Commission will hear from interested persons who have registered and will consider the submissions as part of preparing a report for the Minister for Planning and Local Government, outlining the outcomes of the review, including its recommendation(s) for variances to the EFPA, if any.
