Transition from the Development Act 1993

The Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 is in effect across South Australia replacing the Development Act 1993.

Development applications submitted prior to 19 March 2021 in metropolitan areas and prior to 31 July 2020 in rural areas will continue to be assessed under the relevant development plan.
