Fixes

Updates to building works for classes 7b and 8 to comply with amended Practice Direction 9

To comply with inspections requirements for ‘Farm buildings’ and ‘Farm sheds’ under amended Practice Direction 9, the DAP will follow the following logic:

  • when building work contains one of the following classes: 1A, 1B or 10C, and contains any of the classes 7B or 8, then 7B and 8 will be split into own building work 'Farm building or Farm shed'.
Deletion of swimming pool default notification function for councilsWhere a building certifier is the relevant authority for the building consent, council users for the location can remove the default swimming pool default notification 'Installation of temporary safety barrier for a swimming pool containing a water depth greater than 300mm' when processing development approval.
Review of additional document submission permissionsThe action to review additional documents submitted by the applicant can now only be accepted or declined by the active consent or development approval relevant authority.
