This practice direction enables the staged occupation of a partially completed building to take place in a safe and coordinated manner so that the part of the building to be occupied is as safe as if it was a building in its own right and is adequately separated from construction areas.
The State Planning Commission issues practice directions to specify procedural requirements in connection the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016.
