This practice direction is about the notification of Crown and Essential Infrastructure development applications. It covers:
- the types of notice given to the public under sections 130 and 131 of the Act, where the notification could be a site notice, publication on the PlanSA portal and public advertisement.
- when the relevant authority can proceed with an assessment without giving notice via a sign on the land.
The State Planning Commission issues practice directions to specify procedural requirements in connection the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016.
