Once your have paid all fees, the assessment process begins for your lodged application.

As the end of assessment, the relevant authority will either grant or refuse approval for your development.

What happens next

After you’ve lodged your development application, it will be received by the relevant authority for processing. They will contact you to confirm receipt of your application.

Once the assessment process begins, the relevant authority will keep you notified of its progress.

During assessment you may be asked for more information, additional fees where required or for an extension of time. Some developments will need public notification.

The assessment can occur in several stages before a full development approval is issued.
