After you have prepared your application, you need to lodge it with the relevant authority to begin the assessment process.
There are different ways you can lodge your application, online and offline.

Lodgement methods
From 19 March 2021 all applications are lodged under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016.
Lodge online
Applications can now be lodged online through PlanSA's lodgement form.
You’ll need to register for an account before you can lodge an application online.
Lodge with a local council
Applications can be lodged with the local council for the area where the development is located.
If you lodge with your local council, they are entitled to charge an additional processing fee to upload your application into the new ePlanning system.
