South Australia’s digital planning system is now in full effect and applicable to the whole State. This system is underpinned by the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016, and has replaced the Development Act 1993. Accordingly, the Planning and Design Code (the Code) has replaced Development Plans. Changes proposed to the Planning and Design Code are called Code Amendments.
All DPAs initiated by the Minister under the Development Act 1993 have now been finalised and are listed below.
