The Yorke Peninsula and Mid North region is known for its rich agricultural heritage, stunning coastlines, and strong sense of community. The area is a significant contributor to the state’s economy, with its farmlands, tourism, and renewable energy projects such as wind and solar farms.
The Yorke Peninsula and Mid North Regional Plan identifies land and long-term infrastructure needs to support sustainable growth within the region over a 15-to-30-year period. It reflects the unique and changing profile of the region’s population, environment and economy across its vast rural areas and varied townships.
