The proposal
The proposal for the American River Tourist Resort by City and Central Consulting Pty Ltd can generally be described as a tourist accommodation resort, comprising a range of resort suites and freestanding self contained villas, together with resort amenities. The proposal received the Governor's Development Authorisation on 27 January 2017.
The proponent now seeks to modify the layout plan and elements of the built form to reduce the number of structures on site.
The amendment to the proposal comprises the staged construction of:
- staff accommodation
- 102 hotel rooms
- 16 villas with two bedrooms
- conference facility
- day spa
- complementary nature based activities.
